Reaching for Hope

I hate my scanner. I really do. Please ignore that strip of a shadow on the side. That wasn't meant to be there.
And this is a drawing of a mermaid who ended up on the shore and is lying on land, just reaching I guess for someone to help her back into the water.
Only drawn with a mechanical pencil but outlined in Sharpie pen.
